The Old Days

Ben enjoyed the story enough; it was one of his favorites and had been since he was Sam’s age. And he loved when grandpa read out loud. He made such good voices and sounds and the words became pictures in Ben’s mind, which he liked a lot.

But there was a creepy feeling growing in the bottom of his belly. He did remember the days when he was the only one with grandpa, the one on his lap. He liked that Sam got to do it too, he was happy for his brother. But, he didn’t love every part of the change.
