Most of the kids who lived in the area were unlike their parents. Coming from button-up, golf-playing, wine-sipping families, they were ripe for rebellion. Most Saturday evenings were spent sneaking into the central golf course. Sometimes Edward pissed on the 18th Hole, and most times Samantha brought a joint.

The winds blew wildly in the open air, and it took all of their hands to get it started. That’s what they were: a team. A team fighting against the man. Nepo babies fighting their parent

Once they lit it and breathed it in, their collective anger dissipated and made way for fun. They were able to be themselves, without the confusing addendums.
