Ode To Beach Days

As summer comes to end, temperatures continue to soar, and life takes on that slow, lazy feeling we can only associate with the coming of autumn, we can’t help but want to escape to the beach.
Perhaps a nap with a friend on two white lounge chairs will do, or if you are feeling a little less sleepy, maybe a quick surf, granted the right conditions.
One can be an architect constructing sandcastles, a marine biologist searching for shells, a model sporting a new bathing suit-the possibilities are endless. The time spent by the sea is precious, as is the company we often find ourselves with
Nothing compares to the feeling of humid air striking your face as you step outside, or the tinge of salt on your skin after that first dip in the sea-it can’t help but bring a smile to us all. Next time you go to the beach, remember to take a breath and be grateful for the experiences you’ve had, and will have, where land meets water, where we can’t help but feel a bit meditative and calm.
For when we are at the beach, whether tourist or native, the rest of life ceases to exist, worries are washed away by the rising tide, and all that matters is putting on enough sunscreen and making sure you don’t track sand into the house.
The big problems go away, even if just temporarily, and the world seems still, at peace. For most, the beach is simply a vacation,
a getaway from the troubles of the real world, but wouldn’t it be nice if we could just stay forever?
